Dream Daddy

This is my character on Dream Daddy!

His name is Ari. I made his last name "Jawns" as recomendation of my sister.
We have an ongoing joke referencing John Watson from BBC Sherlock... pronouncing his name as "Jawn" instead of "John".
I considered naming my character Ari Johnson and she said something that sounded like "name him Johns!" and I was like "Johns?"
and she said something like "no no no, Jawns!"

(ID: A screencap from Dream Daddy. It says "NAME THAT DAD!" in large capital letters. The letters are white with a pink outline. The image features a picture of my character. He is pale white and chunky. He has purple curly hair, a purple mustache and full purple beard, and purple arm hair. He has green eyes and a pointy nose. He is wearing grey earrings, though you can only see one from the angle. He is wearing a dark purple-ish shirt with orange stars across it. The stars two include two different shades and vary in size. He is wearing dark grey jeans. The background of most of the image is grey with lighter grey star-like sideways diamond shapes. The top right corner of the image is a close-up of his face facing the opposite direction, filtered in only shades of pink. His face here is highlighted in yellow. The background of this section of the image is light and dark pink diagonal stripes. On the bottom of the image it says "Ari Jawns" in pink. Next to that, there are two buttons, the one is pink and says "BE THAT DAD!" in all caps in white. The button underneath is grey and says "Hang On Daddy..." in white. End ID.)

The store in the mall Amanda goes to in this scene reminds me of Hot Topic. I think it's so cool!

(ID: A screencap from Dream Daddy. It's the store that Amanda and your character go to at the mall near the beginning of the game, called "Dead, Goth, & Beyond". The store has dark purple-ish walls and a lighter purple floor. The store features a lot of clothes, mostly indistiguishable. It also has many accesories and other items. There is a maniquin with an alternative looking dress that is purple and red with matching boots and black fishnets. Next to it is a different maniquin with a purple and red coat on it. A red loop hangs down and can be seen on top of dark blue pants. There are many printed tees designs displayed on the wall. One resembles The Rolling Stones mouth design. There are two posters with skulls. There is a skull-shaped rug. The glass case near the checkout has skulls, crosses, a generic bone, and some roses, along with some generic shapes and possibly a box. The bottom of the image has three options with a tan rectangle around them. They read "Peruse the band t-shirts.", "Look at ironic mugs.", and "Check the clearance bin for hot deals." "Peruse the band t-shirts" is highlighted in tan, and the text is purple-ish. The other two options have white text. End ID)

This dialgue just resinated with me for some reason...
Progressive can't save you from becoming your parents.

(My commentary on this scene is intended as light hearted! I am somewhat like my father which is why I find it funny.)

(ID: A screencap from Dream Daddy. It's a conversation with Brian. The background is a tiki bar with a a lot of red. Brian is a large white man with thick arms and a big belly. He has red hair, a bushy red beard, a little red chest hair showing, and a little red arm hair. He has green and brown eyes. He has freckles. He's wearing a white shirt with an open Hawaiian shirt over it. The Hawaiian shirt is green with light green flowers. He's wearing tan cargo pants. There's a text box on the bottom of the image. It has a tan outline. It says "Brian" in a little box above the dialogue. The box has a green background with light green circles. The text is white. The dialogue says "The best. He practically built half of this town with his bare hands. It's weird how you spend your whole life trying to not become your father, then you wake up one day and there you are." The text is white. End ID.)
